How does it work in practice?
Morten arrives and starts circulating. He stops with groups of 3–8 guests, performs 5–10 minutes of magic directly in front of and with them, and moves on. All groups are reached within the session duration.
What if the venue is large or the guest count is high?
For events of over 100 guests, a session of at least 90 minutes is recommended. Morten plans the route in advance so everyone experiences at least one session. Events of more than 200 guests are possible but require a special arrangement – contact Morten for a tailored quote.
Can close-up be combined with a stage show?
Yes – and that is the most popular combination: close-up magic during the reception, stand-up magic or mentalism as a stage show after dinner. Entertainment all evening. Ask about a combination price.
Is it suitable for private parties such as weddings and birthdays?
Absolutely. Close-up is actually perfect for private parties because it is personal and scalable – works equally well for 20 as for 150 guests, and requires no stage or equipment.
Is anything special required for close-up magic?
Nothing – Morten brings all necessary materials. A venue with enough light for guests to see is the only requirement. Morten handles the rest.
